Tim Lucas

Tim is the lead pastor of Liquid Church, which launched in 2007 and has expanded to 6 locations across New Jersey and Church Online. A graduate of Wheaton College (IL), Pastor Tim is an award-winning author, leadership coach, and national conference speaker known for his passion to communicate the Bible with creativity, heart, and humor. He also has a mission to minister to individuals with special needs, making it a signature cause of Liquid Church. Pastor Tim is committed to creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop their skills and talents in a meaningful way. He’s excited to help the Clean Water Cafe and Pletho grow into an organization that continues to support adults with special needs by providing meaningful work.

Kayra Montañez

Kayra has a background in law and worked as an attorney for nearly a decade. Currently, her role is the Executive Pastor of Ministries. Originally from Puerto Rico, Kayra relocated to New Jersey in 2012 to secure the best care for her son, Andy, who has Down Syndrome. Seeing Liquid’s passion to serve those with Special Needs, Pastor Kayra, her husband Jose, and their 2 children decided to make Liquid their church home. In addition to her professional achievements, Pastor Kayra mentors parents of children with special needs. Kayra is committed to leveraging her extensive experience and knowledge to help the Clean Water Cafe and Pletho create opportunities for preparing our members for the workforce.

Dave Brooks

Dave is the Executive Pastor of Operations, and previously worked as a CPA and CFO of an industrial gas company.He and his wife have 3 adult children, including a son with Down Syndrome. Like many other parents of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities, Pastor Dave is keenly aware that there aren’t sufficient jobs available to adults with a variety of special needs, and that additionally, there is a critical need for more job training. Dave is using his business background and life experience to guide the Clean Water Cafe and Pletho in providing opportunities for adults with special needs to develop the skills required for the workplace.
